Taylor's Baptism: September 1st 2012

Taylor's baptism was a special day. We followed her baptism with a dinner outside our home on the front lawn because the day was beautiful. She carried around her minky baptism blanket made by aunt Hallie Turley. That day, she swore off her favorite show "iCarly" because she admitted to me that it used the Lord's name in vain. She hasn't watched it since, or ever expressed any desire to. It is so sweet to see her hold her new gift of cleanliness, and the covenants she just made at baptism, so special. My most favorite part of her baptism was after she was came out of the water from baptism and she looked up at Jordan and said, "Thank you." Such a sweet girl. She is a great example and has such a great testimony already. She missed the first Fast-Sunday after her baptism and wanted the opportunity to fast so badly that she decided the next Sunday that she would fast even if it wasn't Fast-Sunday. I made sure to remind her to always fast with a purpose and it will make it easier. She decided to fast for our family and we have been amazed at the blessings that have come from her single fast alone. I was so proud of her restraint on her first time because she was given treats in primary and resisted every temptation. We are so proud of you Taylor!
